To provide funds for the purposes of general municipal operations, maintenance, new equipment, extension and enlargement of municipal services and facilities, and capital improvements of the City of Mason there shall be, and is hereby, levied a tax on income, salaries, wages, commissions, and other compensation, and on net profits as hereinafter provided. The funds collected under the provisions of this ordinance shall be deposited in the General Fund and shall be appropriated and disbursed in the order established from time to time, by separate resolution of the Municipal Council.
