(a) Acts of employees of the Park District, to the extent necessary for the performance of their authorized duties, shall be exempt from the provisions of the rules and regulations in this chapter.
(b) The Director may from time to time designate a Park District employee or employees to exercise any authority permitted him or her under the rules and regulations in this chapter.
