§ 963.10 WEAPONS.
   (a)   No person in a park, except a police officer, shall possess a deadly weapon, dangerous ordnance, air rifle, slingshot or missile-throwing device, or discharge any deadly weapon, dangerous ordnance or air rifle. This prohibition shall not be construed to infringe upon the rights of any person who has been issued a license or temporary emergency license to carry a concealed handgun under R.C. § 2923.125 or § 2923.1213.
   (b)   Unauthorized bows and arrows, knives, air or gas guns, missiles, slingshots or other missile-throwing devices, or any snares or traps brought into a park may be confiscated by peace officers.
   (c)   Any person who is convicted of or pleads guilty to a violation of this section shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree on the first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense the person shall be guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree.
