(a) The unit price bid for monolithic concrete sidewalk shall include excavation; all backfill and grading around the walk and between the walk and curb; all curved walk, the removal of trees, bushes, posts and other obstructions; the adjustment of valve boxes to grade; the furnishing and application of an approved liquid curing agent; and shall further include the furnishing of all materials and labor necessary for the completion of the sidewalk as specified and shown.
(b) Payment will be made for the actual number of square feet of sidewalk installed at the unit price bid per square foot.
