Where residences have been constructed or where water or gas services have been installed, the valve boxes for these services shall be found and adjusted to the finish grade. No additional compensation will be paid for adjustment of valve boxes to grade. Gas, water or sewer service pipes and valve boxes broken by the contractor’s operations shall be repaired or replaced at his or her expense.
