§ 909.07 JACKING AND BORING.

If required by the Engineer a water main or house service shall be jacked or bored in order to prevent disturbing the surface of the area being excavated. Depending upon conditions, the Engineer may also require a steel or other type of casing in which the carrier pipe will be installed.
