(a) The Safety Director is hereby given authority to establish parking restrictions in certain areas where fire lanes are necessary for the movement and functioning of fire apparatus.
(b) Designated fire lanes shall be maintained free of obstructions and vehicles and marked in a manner prescribed by the fire official. Such fire lanes shall be posted or otherwise designated as no parking areas.
(c) Any person convicted of parking a motor vehicle in such fire lane or causing an obstruction to be there shall be punished as provided in § 303.99.
