No person shall stop, park or leave standing on any street in the city any vehicle exceeding a gross weight of three tons, or a commercial tractor, trailer, semitrailer or any vehicle of any of the following dimensions or larger: 96 inches, with or without load, in width; 25 feet, with or without load in length; or 108 inches, with or without load, in height, except when parking is necessary to load or unload property, to perform other business services requiring the parking of the vehicle, to comply with the provisions of this Traffic Code, or to obey the directions of a police officer or a traffic-control device. Operators of vehicles so parked for business reasons within the city shall limit parking to a reasonable time to perform loading and unloading or other business service.
