§ 141.02 PUBLIC UTILITIES DIRECTOR.
   (a)   The prerequisite qualifications of the Public Utilities Director are that the person shall have all current and valid licenses and certificates required by the State Environmental Protection Agency to operate the waste water treatment plant and the water treatment plant of the city. Additionally, the person shall have supervisory experience in one or both of the above areas.
   (b)   The duties and responsibilities of the Public Utilities Director shall be, but not limited to, the supervision of the operation and maintenance of the waste water and water treatment plant and all of its appurtenant equipment in full compliance with the State Environmental Protection Agency requirements. Additionally, the Director shall supervise maintenance of the sanitary sewers, water mains, water taps, sewer taps and water meters and participate in the preparation of the annual Water and Sewer Department budgets. Additionally, the person shall train and instruct employees in all phases of the aforesaid work.
