For the purpose of this chapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
SWIMMING POOL. Any artificially created body of water, permanent or temporary, enclosed in non-porous material designed to prevent the unintentional escape, that is 18 inches or more in depth at any point and is designed or used for swimming, wading or bathing purposes, other than municipally owned pools.
