§ 90.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   The owner of any dog who fails to license the dog as required by § 90.04 shall be subject to a civil fine of not less than $20 and not more than $50, such fine to be in excess of the required license fee.
   (C)   For a violation of any provision in § 90.07, harboring a dog without collar and tag, permitting a dog to disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood or cruelty and neglect of a dog or other animal, the initial fine for the first offense is $25. For a second offense within 90 days of the first offense, the fine shall be $100. For a third or subsequent offense, the county may seek to enforce this chapter in any court of competent jurisdiction and, if the defendant in such action is found to be in violation hereof, the county shall be entitled to recover its costs of prosecution, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, a fine not to exceed $250 and other remedies imposed by the court of competent jurisdiction. The owner of any dog or other animal violating any of the provisions of this chapter, except § 90.04(B), shall be deemed guilty of a Class B misdemeanor.
