§ 72.25 SNOW ROUTE RESTRICTIONS.
   The streets identified in Ch. 78, Sch. III Snow Routes are declared snow routes and subject to restrictions as follows:
   (A)   After a snowfall of two inches or more, it shall be unlawful for any person to leave parked or leave standing unattended a motor vehicle, upon any street identified by ordinance as a snow route until the street has been plowed after the completion of snow.
   (B)   A police officer may initiate an ordinance violation for a snow route parking violation against the owner, lessee or driver of a vehicle wrongfully parked or left unattended on a snow route in violation of the above by issuance of a parking ticket or otherwise serving a notice of ordinance violation. The fine shall be in an amount of $200. The ticket or notice of violation shall contain a statement that the violation may be resolved without a court or administrative hearing date appearance upon payment of a pre-filing penalty paid and received by City Hall no less than five business days before the hearing date. The pre-filing penalty shall be one half of the minimum fine, being $100.
   (C)   A vehicle parked or left unattended in violation of the above is declared a nuisance and may be summarily abated, without notice, by towing as authorized under § 72.40.
