§ 150.002 CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF MULTI-STORY AND MULTI-FAMILY BUILDINGS.
   The provisions of this section shall apply to all multi-story and multi-family structures only, excluding single- family residences.
   (A)   The fire resistance rating of structural elements (including walls, floors and roof) and tenant separation or party walls shall be a minimum of two hours and shall be constructed of masonry or concrete.
   (B)   Exterior and load-bearing wall construction shall be of masonry. All floors shall be of the precast concrete type or poured concrete type having at least a two-hour fire resistance rating.
