The Code Enforcement Officer or his authorized representative shall administer and enforce such codes and ordinances as are established by the Village Board from time to time and are in effect in accordance with the powers and duties therein set forth, and in furtherance of such authority, he shall:
(A) Perform such acts including but not limited to inspections, giving of notices and effectuating such court orders as may be necessary for the enforcement of the Codes and Ordinances of the Village as they relate to nuisances, occupancy of buildings, mobile homes, weeds, trees and bushes, together with such other or similar matters as may be designated by the Mayor or Village Board and consistent with the Codes and Ordinances of the Village.
(B) Keep the Mayor and Village Board advised of Enforcement activities by written report once each month, including statements of notices of violations, permits and certificates issued and orders promulgated.
(C) The Code Enforcement Officer may request and shall receive so far as may be necessary in the discharge of duties, the assistance and cooperation of the Mayor in enforcing orders, of the Village Attorney in prosecuting violators, and of other Village officials and officers.
(D) The Code Enforcement Officer shall perform such duties as prescribed by Codes and Laws of the Village and as may be specifically assigned to him by the Village Board. Such Codes and Laws may include, but not be limited to, Occupancy Permit Inspections, Mobile Housing Code, and Subdivision Code, as adopted and amended from time to time by the Village Board.
