38-3-80 UTILITY AND TRASH RATES.

   There shall be established the following rates and charges for the use of the water, sewer and trash systems of the Village, based upon the amount of water consumed as follows:

   (A)   WATER USERS - INSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.

      First   1,000 gallons   $14.87 Minimum per month

      Over   1,000 gallons   $8.55 per 1,000 gallons

   (B)   WATERUSERS- OUTSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.

      First   1,000 gallons   $19.55 Minimum per month

      Over    1,000 gallons   $12.57 per 1,000 gallons

   (C)   SEWERUSERS- INSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.

      First   1,000 gallons   $10.63 Minimum per month

      Over    1,000 gallons   $ 7.31 per 1,000 gallons

   (D)   SEWERUSERS- OUTSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.

      First   1,000 gallons   $14.69 Minimum per month

      Over    1,000 gallons   $10.72 per 1,000 gallons

   (E)   WATER AND SEWERUSERS- INSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.

      First   1,000 gallons   $25.50 Minimum per month

      Over    1,000 gallons   $15.86 per 1,000 gallons

   (F)   WATER AND SEWERUSERS- OUTSIDE VILLAGE LIMITS.

      First   1,000 gallons   $34.24 Minimum per month

      Over    1,000 gallons   $23.29 per 1,000 gallons

   (G)   BULK WATER.  All bulk water sales shall be at the rate of SeventeenDollars Nineteen Cents ($17.19) per one thousand (1,000) gallons.

   (H)   TRASH AND GARBAGE PICK-UP.

   All regular customers under the age of sixty-five (65) shall be billed at the rate of Ten Dollars ($10.00) per month.

   All regular customers age sixty-five (65) or older shall be billed at the rate of Eight Dollars ($8.00) per month.

   (I)   The water and sewer rates contained in this Section shall continue to increase automatically and in proportion to any increases in rates that the Kaskaskia Water District charges to the Village.

   (J)   Two percent (2%) of the revenue that is raised from the water/sewer fees shall continue to be placed in a Reserve Fund to be used by the Board of Trustees for future water/sewer infrastructure improvements.

   (K)   Unless specifically and lawfully repealed by the Village Board of Trustees, the above rates shall automatically increase as follows:

      3.5% on the first day of January 2019

      3.5% on the first day of January 2020

      2.5% on the first day of January 2021
