No person shall, within the Village, carry or wear under his clothes, or concealed about his person, any sling-shot, or cross knuckles or knuckles of lead, brass or other metal, or any switchblade knife or razor, bowie knife, dirk knife or dirk dagger, or any other dangerous or deadly weapon. This Section shall not prohibit any person from carrying a concealed firearm in compliance with the Illinois Firearm Concealed Carry Act (430 ILCS 66/1 et. al.), nor shall this Section apply to officers or members of the Police Department, nor any sheriff or deputy sheriff or constable of this State, nor to any United States Marshal.
