A. It is unlawful for any person to operate or permit to be operated any taxicab in the city unless a license has been issued by the city clerk for the operation of said taxicab and the license is in full force and effect during the entire time the taxicab is in operation.
B. No license to operate a taxicab shall be issued except for a specific motor vehicle to be used for the transportation of passengers for hire. (Ord. 2374, 8-22-2011)
