303.10 REPOSSESSION OF VEHICLE.
(a) Every person engaged in the business of making loans, purchasing notes secured by mortgages, conditional sales agreements, or any other liens upon motor vehicles, or engaged in any other business involving the repossession of motor vehicles shall notify the Division of Police of any repossession of motor vehicles and shall give such additional information as may be required within one hour after repossession of any motor vehicle when the same is taken without the owner’s consent or knowledge.

(b) Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
