171.06 SUBSTITUTE POSITIONS.

Employees working temporarily in positions rated higher than their own permanent position must be paid the rate of salary established for such higher position for time actually employed therein; provided, however, that this section shall not apply to the Police and Fire Divisions. (1954 Code Sec. 14.62)
