171.05 PAYROLL DEDUCTIONS PROHIBITED.

   (a)    Except as otherwise provided by the Ohio Revised Code or an ordinance of this City, no officer, agent or employee shall authorize a payroll deduction to be made from his or another person's earnings, without prior legislative consent of Council. When such legislation by the General Assembly is discretionary with Council, enabling legislation must first be adopted by Council.

   (b)    All authorizations in conflict with this section are hereby declared null and void. (Ord. 75-180. Passed 5-6-75.)
