157.01 CREATION; MEMBERS; TERM.

   There is hereby created a Commission to be known and designated as the Mansfield Metropolitan Airport and Aviation Commission composed of nine residents of the City and the Mansfield area; three to be the Airport Committee of Council, the Manager of the Airport, the Commander of Ohio National Guard 179th Airlift Wing, and four to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of Council. All members of the Commission shall serve without pay. The four members shall be appointed as follows: two for two years and two for three years, to serve until their successors are duly appointed. Successors to those members appointed by the Mayor shall, thereafter, be appointed for terms of four years. Vacancies caused by death, resignation, removal from the City or the Mansfield area, or otherwise, shall be filled for the unexpired term in the same manner as original appointments are made.
