1303.03 ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS FOR EXAMINATION.
(a) The applicant for master plumber's certification shall have held a journeyman plumber's certificate for at least two years, during which time the applicant was engaged in the installation of plumbing work or the direction thereof, or who has had training or education in a recognized trade school, college or university, and experience in the making or directing of plumbing installations under the supervision of a certified master plumber which is equivalent to five years experience in the trade.
(b) The applicant for journeyman plumber's certificate shall have had at least three years experience as a plumber's apprentice or the equivalent thereof in training or education.
(c) The applicant has satisfactorily completed an examination prepared by and given under the direction of the Board of Examiners of Plumbers.
(d) When the applicant is required to take an examination and such examination is not taken within six months of the date of acceptance of the application, such application shall be deemed to have lapsed.
