1161.05 TRANSMITTAL TO PLANNING COMMISSION.

   Immediately upon receipt of an application for a zoning amendment, the Clerk of Council shall forward such application to the secretary of the Planning Commission and to the Law Director for preparation of the proposed ordinance making the requested amendment. The secretary of the Commission shall schedule review of the application at the next regularly scheduled meeting of the Commission, but in no case less than ten days after receiving the application. The Law Director shall forward the ordinance to the secretary of the Commission prior to the scheduled Commission meeting. The secretary of the Commission shall notify, by regular mail, all affected owners of land listed in the application, of the date, time and location of the Commission's meeting on the proposed amendment.
