1111.03 BLOCKS.
   (a)    Provisions. The lengths, widths and shapes of blocks shall be determined with due regard to:
      (1)    Provision of adequate building sites suitable to the special need of the type of use contemplated.
      (2)    Zoning requirements and the requirements contained in the Subdivision Code as to lot size and dimension.
      (3)    Needs for convenient access, circulation, control and safety of street traffic.
      (4)    Limitations and opportunities of topography.
   (b)    Length. Blocks shall not exceed 1,320 feet in length except where topographical conditions require longer blocks, nor shall they be less than 400 feet in length; blocks in excess of 900 feet in length shall require crosswalks ten feet in width to be located at approximately the center.
   (c)    Width. Blocks shall contain two rows of lots except where double and reverse frontage lots are allowed. (Ord. 64-222. Passed 9-15-64.)
