1107.02 JURISDICTION; PROHIBITION; PENALTY.

   (a)    The Subdivision Code shall be applicable to the subdivision of land located within the City and to the subdivision of land located or situated in the unincorporated areas of the County of Richland, Ohio, within three miles of the corporate limits of Mansfield, Ohio, as now or hereafter established and existing.

   (b)    The provisions of Ohio R.C. Chapter 711 and the rules and regulations of this Code with respect to the subdivision of land without first recording a subdivision plan shall apply to the division of any parcel of land, described in subsection (a) hereof, by an instrument of conveyance, and no person shall subdivide a parcel of land by an instrument of conveyance, by metes or bounds or otherwise, unless a subdivision plan has been first recorded.

   (c)    Whoever willfully violates subsection (b) hereof shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000). (Ord. 67-437. Passed 8-1-67.)
