901.08 PARKING LOT GUARDRAIL REQUIRED.
The operator of a parking lot, storage lot or display lot which abuts a public street, sidewalk, thoroughfare or alley shall erect, or cause to be erected, a fence, guardrail or barrier which shall be so constructed as to prevent vehicles which are parked, stored or displayed therein, from extending over or upon any portion of any public sidewalk, street, thoroughfare or alley and shall be so constructed as to prevent vehicles from using any means of ingress or egress to or from such lot other than those established by the City Engineer and the Police Chief. All plans for construction of fences, guardrails or barriers required by this section shall be submitted to the City Engineer and the Director of Public Safety for approval prior to construction. In addition to any other penalty provided, violation of this section shall be cause for revocation or suspension of any license issued to the operator for such parking, storage or display lot.
