901.05 STREET SIGNS.

   The Department of Public Service shall permanently affix, or cause to be affixed, at the intersection of each street with another street, and each street with an alley, as may be by the Department of Public Service deemed beneficial to the public, a sign board not more than two feet in length, nor more than four inches in width, with the name or number of each street or alley plainly designated thereon. It shall be the duty of the Department of Public Service to furnish any information desired and necessary as to the proper number to be placed on a person's house, building or place of residence.
