505.11 ANIMAL FIGHTS.
   (a)   No person shall engage in or be employed at any show, exhibition, program, or other activity featuring or otherwise involving a fight between such animal and any other animal or human or the intentional killing of any animal for the purpose of sport, wagering or entertainment; no person shall receive money for the admission of another to a place kept for such purpose; no person shall use, train or possess any animal for seizing, detaining or maltreating a domestic animal. No person shall promote, breed, transport, or provide a place for such purpose or activity. Any person who knowingly purchases a ticket of admission to such place, or is present thereat, or witnesses such spectacle, is an aider and abettor.
   (b)    Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the second degree. (Ord. 11-097. Passed 8-2-11.)
