§ 71.05 SHORT-TERM HAUL ROUTES.
Short-term haul routes are those set up for a specific project which will be used for anywhere from a few days or weeks up to 1 or 2 years. These are used to get construction materials (sand, gravel, concrete, asphalt or fill, and the like) to a project or to haul excess material to be a disposal site. It is assumed these routes are being used as Class B routes. In addition to the cost of improvement, and the cost of above normal maintenance items, the permittee, upon completion of the use, must also pay the cost of returning the road of a condition at least as good as it was before the permit was issued.
