§ 91.30 PERMIT REQUIREMENTS; VILLAGE APPROVAL.
   With respect to the moving of houses in or through the village, regulations applicable thereto shall be as follows.
   (A)   No house shall be moved without a permit. The permit fee shall be $50.
   (B)   The Village Engineer shall approve the date, time and route of any move with a view to minimizing damage to property. The applicant in connection with moving a house shall agree to pay the village’s costs of the Village Engineer, police and other village services specifically and uniquely applicable to the move. The contractor or person moving a house shall be bonded with respect to moving in compliance with all applicable laws and without damage to public or private property. The contractor or person shall have public liability insurance for personal injury and property damage in an amount of not less than $500,000.
   (C)   The contractor or person moving a house shall obtain all governmental or utility authorizations in connection with the move.
   (D)   The contractor or person moving a house shall indemnify, defend and save whole and harmless the village and all of its officers and employees from claims, actions and damages of any kind whatsoever in connection with the move.
