RECREATIONAL CAMPING AREA REGULATIONS
(A) Density and area requirements.
(1) Minimum area requirement for a recreational camping area shall be 10 acres.
(2) Minimum site size of 2,000 square feet shall be provided for each recreational camping vehicle in camping area.
(B) Setback and spacing requirements.
(1) All recreational camping vehicles shall be located at least 25 feet from any camping area property boundary line abutting upon a public street or highway right-of-way and at least 10 feet from other park property boundary lines.
(2) All recreational camping vehicles shall be separated from each other and from other structures by at least 10 feet. Any accessory structure such as attached awnings, carports, or individual storage facilities, shall, for the purpose of this separation requirement, be considered to be part of the recreational camping vehicle.

All recreational camping areas shall meet the following requirements.
(A) Each site shall be landscaped with trees, shrubbery, hedges, grass, and/or appropriate fencing.
(B) Soil conditions, groundwater level, drainage, and topography shall not create hazards to the property or health and safety of the occupants. The site should not be exposed to objectionable smoke, noise, odors, or other adverse influences, and no portion subject to unpredictable and/or sudden flooding.
(C) Soil and exposed ground surfaces shall be paved or covered with stone, screenings, or other solid material or protected with a vegetative growth that is capable of preventing soil erosion and of eliminating objectionable dust.
(D) The ground surface shall be graded and equipped to drain all surface water in a safe, efficient manner. No waste water from recreational camping vehicles shall be deposited on the surface of the ground.
(E) In all recreational camping areas, at least 5% of the land area shall be developed for recreational use (tennis courts, play areas, swimming, and the like) and maintained at the owner/operator’s expense.
