§ 52.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99.
   (B)   Any person, firm, or corporation, or agent, employee, or contractor thereof, who violates, disobeys, omits, neglects, or refuses to comply with, or who resists enforcement of any provision of §§ 52.01 through 52.07 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and shall be subject to a fine of not more than $500 or imprisonment for not more than six months, or both, for each offense. Each week a violation continues to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
   (C)   Any person violating any provision of §§ 52.20 through 52.31, upon conviction, shall be fined not less than $25 nor more than $500. Each day the violation continues shall constitute a distinct and separate offense. There shall be no incarceration for violations of that subchapter.
   (D)   Violations of §§ 52.45 through 52.57 shall constitute an offense pursuant to 55 ILCS 5/5 - 1052, punishable by a fine not to exceed $500. Each day the violation continues shall constitute a distinct and separate offense. Further, violations of different sections of §§ 52.45 through 52.57 may be prosecuted as separate and distinct violations and each day a violation of any section thereof continues shall be considered a distinct and separate offense.
