A certain document, copies of which are on file in the Office of the Village Code Enforcement Officer, being marked and designated as the ICC International Building Code, 2006 edition, as published by the International Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted as the Building Code of the Village for the control of buildings and structures as herein provided, except as also herein provided for residential structures; and each and all of the regulations, provisions, conditions and terms of said code are hereby referred to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this chapter, with the additions, insertions, deletions and changes, if any, prescribed in section 12-4-2 of this chapter. Pursuant to section 116.4 of the referenced code, as amended and promulgated by section 12-2-7 of this title, the Village further adopts the ICC International Residential Code, 2006 edition, as its Building Code for One- and Two-Family Dwellings.
