8-6-2: LICENSE REQUIRED; APPLICATION; INVESTIGATION:
   A.   License Required; Fee: No person shall manage, conduct or carry on the business of operating a veterinary hospital without first having obtained a license therefor. The license fee required shall be as indicated in section 4-1-3 of this code. (1965 Code § 9-7-71)
   B.   Application: Any person desiring to conduct, carry on or operate a "veterinary hospital", as defined in section 8-6-1 of this chapter, shall make a written application for a license so to do, which shall conform to the general requirements relating to applications for licenses. Such application shall also state the number of animals which is proposed to be kept in the establishment or premises for which application for license is made. (1965 Code § 9-7-76)
   C.   Investigation By Health Officer; Issuance Of License: Upon receipt of such application, the health officer shall cause such investigation to be made as, in his judgment, is necessary for the issuance of the license hereinbefore referenced. Upon completion of such investigation, the health officer shall cause a license to be issued to such applicant upon the payment of the fee required. (1965 Code § 9-7-77)
