It shall be unlawful for any child under the age of 18 years to be on the streets or other public places in the City between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. However, a child below the age of 18 may be on the streets of the City between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m. pursuant to the scope of lawful employment, or when the child is engaged in activities of Fire Department and Life Squad Service and similar service activities, when the child is traveling to or from an extracurricular activity sponsored by the child’s school, or when the child is in the company of his parent or legal guardian or person having the legal care, custody and control of such child.
