No connection for water meters shall be installed in any location not easily accessible or which is, or may be, unclean or in any manner hazardous to City employees in the discharge of their duties. No water meter connections shall be installed in any pit or well placed below plumbing fixtures, nor shall any connection be installed in any toilet room in proximity to any plumbing fixture. No connection for a water meter shall be installed below any stairway, landing, or platform unless there is provided a space of not less than four feet above the center line of the water meter supply pipe. The installation of a connection for a water meter below any show window platform shall not be permitted.
