541.10 POLICY TO PURSUE PARENTS FOR COST OF DAMAGE TO CITY PROPERTY.
   (a)   It shall be the policy of the City to aggressively pursue parents for the cost of damage to City-owned real or personal property occasioned by the acts of their minor children.
   (b)   The City Manager, the Chief of Police, the City Solicitor, and the City Prosecutor are hereby directed to establish a procedure for the identification and review of cases where City- owned real or personal property is destroyed, vandalized, defaced, stolen or otherwise damaged by minors and, when appropriate, to take such other civil action as is authorized by Ohio law to recover the cost of such damage from the parents of such minors, and to report to Council from time to time as to the results of such action.
