For purposes of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
COURT PROCESS OFFICER. An employee of the Metro Government assigned to the Department for Health and Human Services, Division of Youth Detention to serve process and to apprehend and take juveniles or adults into custody pursuant to orders issued by the Jefferson District Court, Juvenile Division, or the Jefferson Family Court.
SCHOOL CROSSING GUARD. An employee of the Metro Government assigned to the Police Department for the purpose of assisting children in crossing public streets to and from school.
