Notwithstanding the provisions of §§ 35.101 through 35.104 and §§ 32.110 through 32.129, any sworn member of the Police Department who, on or after May 1, 1986, becomes a member of the County Employees Retirement System shall not be eligible for any benefits provided by the Policemen's Retirement Fund except as a survivor, dependent, or designated beneficiary of a member of the Policemen's Retirement Fund.
