§ 35.101 ELIGIBILITY.
   (A)   The civilian employees of the Louisville Metro Police Department granted benefits under this subchapter are police desk clerks, traffic-control officers I, and traffic-control officers II.
   (B)   An injury is considered an in-the-line-of-duty injury under this subchapter if, and only if, absent negligence on the part of the employee, he or she is injured while on duty for the Metro Government when performing extra-hazardous duties similar to those performed by sworn police officers involving law enforcement and detention of prisoners. This provision does not include any injury that is incurred otherwise while on duty, at home, or as a result of off-duty employment.
