In the event that any supplemental salary payment is made and a subsequent workmen’s compensation income benefit or pension benefit is paid to the employee or spouse or dependents for the period for which the supplemental salary payment was made under this subchapter, the employees or spouse or dependents shall refund to the Metro Government an amount equal to any workmen’s compensation income benefit or pension benefit received for the period for which the supplemental salary payment was made by the Metro Government.
