939.03 POSTING OF BOND; LIABILITY; RESTORATION.
   Previous to being licensed by the City Manager, the applicant for a license as required by Section 939.01 shall file with the City Manager a bond of five thousand dollars ($5,000) given by some good and reliable surety company to the approval of the City Manager. The bond shall be conditioned that the licensee will indemnify and save the City harmless from all loss and damage that may be occasioned in any way by accident or by the lack of care or skill on the part of the licensee, his agents or employees in prosecuting such work, or such loss made or caused to be made in any street, avenue or public property with any public sewer or drain or any sewer or drain laid in any public street, avenue, easement or public ground; conditioned also, that he will promptly, at the proper time, replace and restore to the street, avenue, easement or other public ground as the case may be, over such opening to as good a state and condition as he found it previous to opening it, and that he will conform in all respects to the rules and regulations which may from time to time be established by Council or by the City Manager or Director of Service in relation to the construction, repair or regulation of public sewers and drains, and any sewer or drain laid in public streets, avenues, alleys, easements or other property.
