(a) If a motor vehicle is registered in the County after January 1st of any given year, the license fee will not be collected by the County during that first year. The license fee for motor vehicles registered in the County as of January 1st of any given year, will be due on May 5th of that year.
(b) License fees are not refundable or transferable, and will not be prorated. License fees that are not paid by the May 5th deadline will be considered delinquent and collected by the Treasurer in accordance with the law.
