(a) The revenue derived from all County motor vehicle license fees under this chapter shall be applied to general County purposes.
(b) Should the County Treasurer collect motor vehicle license fees of any town wholly or partially located within the County pursuant to an agreement with such town entered in accordance with section 46.2-752 (M) if the Code of Virginia, the amount of license fees collected on behalf of the town should be accounted for and remitted to the town owed such license fee in the same manner as provided by law and the respective agreement.
