838.02 PURPOSE.

The purpose of this chapter is to:

(a) Ensure that all public swimming pools and water recreation facilities are constructed, operated, and maintained in a manner which does not adversely affect the public health or safety;

(b) Set forth the requirements necessary to secure a permit for construction, ownership and operation of a water recreation facility.
