All signs to designate a District shall be erected by the County in conformance with the applicable VDOT regulations and shall be of such design and character as to readily inform the operators of vehicles in the Districts of the existence, nature and requirements of the regulations pertaining to the particular District. All signs shall be maintained by the County and shall indicate time of day the restriction or prohibition is applicable, if not all hours, the days of the week applicable, if not every day.
