For the purposes of this chapter, the following words and phrases shall have the meaning given to them in this section except where the context indicates a different meaning.
(a) "Public Assets" means personal property belonging to or paid for by the county or the labor of any person other than the accused that is paid for by the county.
(b) "Agent" means any person who is authorized to act on behalf of an officer, employee, or elected official.
(c) "Officer" means any person appointed to any governmental or advisory agency of the county whether or not such person receives compensation or other emolument of office.
(d) "Employee" means any person employed by a governmental or advisory agency of the county.
(e) "Elected Official" means any person who has been elected to or appointed to an elective office of the county.
