258.09   APPLICANT TO SERVE AS VOLUNTEER WITH EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES AGENCY TO SUBMIT TO FINGERPRINTING.
   Pursuant to sections 15.2-1503.1, 19.2-389, and 32.1-111.5 of the Code of Virginia, any person who applies to be a volunteer with an emergency medical services agency which is part of the Loudoun County Combined Fire-Rescue System must submit fingerprints and provide personal descriptive information to be provided directly to the Central Criminal Records Exchange to be forwarded to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for the purpose of obtaining criminal history records information for the applicant. The results of the fingerprint-based criminal history record check shall be forwarded to the Chief of the County’s Combined Fire and Rescue System or his designee, who shall also be a County employee.
   Any person who applies for employment with the Loudoun County Combined Fire-Rescue System shall also submit to fingerprinting in accordance with the provisions of Section 252.01 of these Ordinances.
