No person shall discriminate in any manner or retaliate against any person for exercising rights protected under this article. Rights protected under this article include, but are not limited to: 1) the right to inform any person of the person’s potential rights under this article and to assist the person in asserting such rights; and 2) the right to file a complaint or inform any person about any other person’s alleged noncompliance with this article. This section shall apply to retaliation against any Complainant who mistakenly, but in good faith, alleges a violation by a Respondent. Taking adverse action against a person within 90 calendar days of that person’s exercise of rights protected under this article shall raise a rebuttable presumption of having done so in retaliation for the exercise of such rights.
