Unless otherwise specified, Statements of Economic Interests filed pursuant to a Conflict of Interest Code and Los Angeles Municipal Code (LAMC) Section 49.5.6, any report, document, statement or item filed pursuant to Charter Sections 470, 471 and Sections 700 through 712, LAMC Sections 48.01 et seq., 49.5.1 et seq. and 49.7.1 et seq., and Sections 24.12, 24.21, 24.31 and 24.51 of this Code, and any other statement, report or document required to be filed with the City Ethics Commission shall be deemed filed on the date received by the City Ethics Commission or other designated filing official, whichever initially receives the document. However, statements, reports and other documents deposited in the United States mail, properly addressed and bearing the appropriate postage, shall be deemed filed on the date of the postmark.
